Monthly Thrift | August

August was a bit quieter on the old thrift front but the things I did find were pretty awesome...

I picked up this vintage dress for £2.99

These old film cameras were also £2.99 each. I'm not sure if they work yet but I can't wait to find out.

I picked up a couple more Readers Digest books for my collection, it turns out I'm a sucker for cute illustrated books, ok ok I like the pictures.

The Exeter Record Fair was on again but I restrained myself and picked up these 3 to add to my vinyl collection...

On Sunday we went to two car boot sales, the first one at 6am where we actually arrived before the sellers had been let in. This meant we scored some treasures as they were being unpacked so it was worth it. The afternoon boot sale sucked, which you can see from my brothers face. Rich was pretty happy with finding a storm trooper helmet though, he also found a NECA Labyrinth figure of Bowie for £6 that sell for £30-£100 online, needless to say he's chuffed.

Have you been thrifting lately? What did you find?

    1. I'm finding that a lot lately too. Some of the books I collect can be 50p-£1 in some charity shops and £5+ in others. I understand they need to make money but sometimes it's out of my price range. xx

I haven't been thrifting in ages, I don't find the time too much. I'm hoping to go to the Brussels Vintage Market on Sunday though :)
