My furry friends!

Aside from the few pets I had as a child; fish, a stick insect named Bevis and Guinea Pigs, I named mine Babe (the Guinea Pig not Sheep Pig), I've never had any big pets e.g. a massive dog! So naturally I love that Rich and his family have their own little tribe of furry goodness.

I was clearing out my iPhone photos the other day and realised that the majority of the photos I've taken are of the cats and dog, so I thought I'd share a couple with you.

Enjoy!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

This weekend I finally put up my christmas tree!! Despite having the urge since the 1st December, I left it for another week and finally put my £15 bargain beauty together.

I'm a bit of a tree snob, as putting the tree up is my favourite thing about Christmas and I've been known to cry over a rubbish tree before, but I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it looks when it's decorated.

Obviously the only way to end a day of decorating is with a mug of hot chocolate and Elf on tv.

Hope you're all getting in the Christmas spirit and not letting crazy shoppers drag you down.

Goodbye Autumn

Ahh it feels like a long time since I last blogged, but now we finally have internet I fully intend to get back into it. The past fortnight has been so up and down, work has been ridiculously busy, the flat finally feels like home, and the weather has just been mental. We've gone from having the worst flooding I've ever seen, to bitter sunny days with a chance of snow today (yipee).

Autumn is by far my favourite season, although I dislike the long dark evenings, it's worth it for the beautiful colours of autumn and snuggly jumpers! So seeing as autumn has definitely come to a close, I thought I'd share a couple of photos I managed to get out and take over the last few weeks before winter has well and truly kicked in.

It's so good to be back.
